Matt’s background is full of rich creative experiences. He began his career as an illustrator and character animator at Walt Disney. As a young designer, he became enthralled with technology and quickly became influenced by its sheer breadth of capability and the richness of experience and possibility.
After 32 years of working in the tech industry as a foremost product designer and strategist, his traditional painting and drawing skills called him to return to his roots.
Fascinated with 15-16th century portraits, Matt now paints and sells his unique style of dog portraiture. You will see his background in animation, expression, and posing reflected in each painting.
