What is a Giclee Print? – A giclee print (pronounced ge-KLAY) is a fine art print made with a high-end inkjet printer. In the giclee printing process the artwork is captured, proofed and printed digitally. These prints are reproduced using incredibly precise printers and archival inks. Giclee prints are recognized by the world’s leading galleries and museums as the finest reproductions available to date.
Digital fine art prints prints are advantageous to artists who do not find it feasible to mass produce their work, but want to reproduce their art as needed, or on-demand. Once an image is digitally archived, additional reproductions can be made with minimal effort and reasonable cost. The prohibitive up-front cost of mass production for an edition is eliminated. Archived files will not deteriorate in quality as negatives and film inherently do. Another tremendous advantage of giclee printing is that digital images can be reproduced to almost any size and onto various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client.
What is the difference between a Limited Edition giclee and mass produced print?
A signed limited edition print is a copy of an original piece of art that is printed in a limited number. The value of the original painting will exceed that of a limited edition print. The prints are limited as the artist only releases a specific number of the prints. The artists will sign each copy of the print and number them. The number of copies will always be shown on the print itself. On each print, you will see a number like 17/150. This means that this is a limited edition print, number 17 of 150.
We currently limit each editions to 275 numbered prints. Once the edition has been sold, signed editions will no longer be available.
Do you offer different sizes?
Currently, our limited edition sizes are broken out into four size categories. If you have specific ideas, needs or want to explore additional size options, contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Do you offer framing?
We offer custom framing services on a case by case basis. We can also make recommendations on the types of frames for each specific print – to ensure that the frame not only matches your decor, but highlights and matches the visual experience with our print.
How do I care for my print?
It is important to always use acid free products that will be in contact with your print. If you frame your print, ensure that the backing board is acid free, as well as the matte material. If you plan on storing your print, please ensure that it stays in the archival certified storage bag that it arrived wrapped in.
Products that contain Acid will destroy the ink/paper over time causing the print to deteriorate.
We recommend framing under glass – utilizing non-reflective museum glass. This will give your print the ultimate protection as well as provide a matte finish no matter how bright the room is.
After I purchase, how long before I receive my prints?
Once you place your order, it will take between 1-2 weeks to receive your print. We do not mass produce our prints. Each order is printed on demand. We have found that this is the best way to ensure the highest quality possible and meets our Artists’ expectations.
Each print is then packaged to ensure protection during shipping. When you receive your purchased print, you can rest assured that you have the highest quality print to brighten up your home or office.
Is shipping included?
Shipping is an additional cost and will vary by size, location and immediacy of shipping method.
Do we do commissions?
Yes, we currently do commissions. Commissions can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month depending upon the painting. We also offer traditional oil on canvas which typically takes around 60 days to complete.
Each commission process includes submitting a profile for your pet. We like to understand all of the personality traits, and unique aspects of your dog. Additionally we have you submit pictures of your pet. From there, we rough out the overall painting and present this to you so see the progress. Once the commission is completed, we will print onto a material of your choice (or send you the canvas if it is an oil on canvas). If framing is included, we will ensure that the artwork is packaged securely and shipped/transported to you.
